So, yesterday I went to the store to go and see what I could waste my fiat on. As I’m walking in there is a guy with his son, probably early 40’s and a younger teenager. I’m walking in and I hear
“You know Walmart stock, that’s real money, it can only go so low, it’ll always come back. What’s Bitcoin? It’s not real money, it’s not worth anything.” And then they keep on talking and walking, the son looking slightly confused.
I live in West Virginia, so there’s going to be more of this here than in an urban state, but I still thought it was mind boggling since I’ve been involved with crypto since 2016 and have experienced first hand that this market can definitely change your life.
Hope this fits the rules of the sub, I just thought it was really insane to hear something like that in 2023.
